Recently I was asked by norton to renew my anti-virus & anti-spyware. I researched a bit and discovered that many computer users (including I.T.) are using free ant-virus, free anti-spyware & free anti-malware. Yes, anti-malware. I hadn't heard of it either until a friend mentioned it. Malware is software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner's informed consent.
After talking to some friends in I.T. and doing a little online research I've decided to go with these three...
- AVG Free Anti-Virus
- Spybot Search & Destroy : Anti-Spyware
- Malwarebytes : Anti-Malware
I think with these 3 running, my PC will be just as safe or maybe safer than using norton or mccaffe. It might even be a little safer because I'm not sure if norton has anti-malware.
